to assist organisations in fulfilling their training requirements to
ensure best practice. Each training course is individually tailored
to meet the requirements of your organisation, listed below are some
examples of previous courses we have provided:
CIEH Professional
Trainers Certificate
This qualification provides an opportunity
to understand and practice a professional approach to training
design and delivery. It is ideal for anyone who needs to either
understand the basics of training practice or wants to refine their
training techniques.
NCFE Level 2 and 3 Certificates
We offer a range of courses including:
- Certificate in Dementia Awareness (Level 2)
- Certificate in Safe Handling of Medicines (Level
2)
- Certificate in Equality & Diversity (Level 2)
- Award in the Prevention and Control of
Infection (Level 2)
- Certificate in the Provision of Activities in a
Care Setting (Level 2)
- Certificate in Palliative Care (Level 3)
Medication
The aim of this training is to ensure care staff
have the knowledge, understanding and skill to be able to handle and
administer medication safely.
Loss & Bereavement /
Death, Dying & Bereavement
The aim of this training is to ensure all staff
have the knowledge and understanding to be able to manage both expected
and unexpected death, and have an awareness of loss and bereavement
and the many causes of loss. Also within this training to explore the
different stages of grief.
Communication
The aim of the session is to ensure all staff
have the knowledge and understanding to be able to communicate with
their clients through a range of different methods. This can be tailored
to link to the NVQ standards.
Automated External Defibrillation
(AED)
The aim of this training is to give individuals
the knowledge and ability to recognise a cardiac arrest and respond
using an AED where appropriate.
Supervision
This training is aimed at managers and senior
staff in order for them to understand their responsibilities and to
be able to develop their skills in providing supervision to junior staff.
Documentation & Record-Keeping
To ensure that you are have the knowledge and
understanding of how to be able to complete care documentation so that
it complies with both legal and organisational requirements.
